This page provides links to the many resources and services available to NUI Maynooth Students.

The Library has a team of Subject Librarians. Their role is to provide a link between the Academic Community (lecturers, researchers, students etc) and the Library to help in meeting their information needs. Each member of the team is responsible for particular subject areas.

Specific roles include:

  • Research Support to Staff and Students
  • Academic Liaison
  • Information Skills Tutorials
  • Development of Information Skills programmes


To identify who your particular subject librarian is, select the relevant subject link under Subject Help at the top of the screen. This contains:

  • Contact details of the Subject Librarians
  • Subject resources lists
  • Recommended library databases (and guides)
