Kindle

Our Kindles now have even more titles, more course work and more general reading available.

We have kept all the titles from the last few semesters – including material for History, English and Business modules.

However, we have added material for more History courses,  some new German titles as well as Economics. So, if you are studying on these courses, or come across a kindle title on our catalogue, you have another option for borrowing –and one week loan gives you access to over a hundred title, which you can read anywhere. We will of course ensure that there are hardcopy versions available for students too, so if you can’t get your hands on a kindle, don’t despair! All Kindle titles will show up in the online catalogue, just like their hardcopy versions.

For our broader student cohort, we continue to put a variety of general titles on the Kindles. So, if you are looking for some leisure reading, in a travel friendly guise, please come to the desk and borrow Kindles 1 to 10. If you like it, and think it would help to have some of your key texts on it, please let your lecturer know. Remember - by using the Kindle, you can borrow multiple books for just one week loan.

If you have any questions on the Kindles  please contact Louise Saults in the Library.
