Gerard Manley Hopkins Society visit to the Russell Library
A group of international scholars, attending the 25th annual festival of the Gerard Manley Hopkins Society, visited the Russell Library on Sunday, 22nd July. They were accompanied by renowned Irish writer Thomas Kinsella, who was awarded the Hopkins Society Lifetime Achievement Award on the day. The tour highlighted some of the treasures of the Russell Library and included an introduction to conservation and preservation practices.
