Library receives donation of remarkable Bible
The Library has recently received a remarkable donation of a bible from Marie and John McLoughlin. This timely donation of The National Comprehensive Family Bible will greatly enhance our new Special Collections area in the library extension. This impressively bound large format bible has a full leather binding with two ornate brass corners and brass clasps and is illustrated with colour and black and white engravings. It is estimated to have been published c1919.
