General Information
Material in the John Paul II Library dates from 1851 to present and comprises books, periodicals, reference, theses, audio visual, official publications, manuscripts and archives on microfilm and special collections. The Library has access to many electronic services and these are listed on our Electronic Resources pages.
The Russell Library houses early printed books (before 1851), manuscripts and archives. The Kildare Store houses theses and lesser-used material. Items from the Kildare Store need to be requested at the Desk on level 1. There is a branch library on the Kilkenny Campus, which supports courses run by the Department of Adult Education.
